Fourth Conference on University Teaching in Valencian and English
The 4th Conference on University Teaching in Valencian and English is a forum through which the academic staff, who teach (or have taught or will teach) using Valencian and English as a working language in their classes at the University of Alicante, meet together.
Inform the UA academic staff on the activities undertaken by the Office of the Vice President for Culture, Sports and Language Policies to launch a Multiyear Plan on Language Policies at the UA, especially to increase the teaching activity in Valencian and other languages.
Reflect on the role and relevance of the use of Valencian in the teaching activity within our linguistic, social and labour context.
Reflect on what the teaching activity in other non-official languages at the University of Alicante involves.
Disseminate the resources available at the Languages and Culture Service for the academic staff in order to support their teaching activity in Valencian and other langugaes.
Get in touch with the academic community who teach or are willing to teach in Valencian or English at the UA.

12:30 pm - 14 pm Paper. Aprenents universitaris multilingües. La importància de formar en llengües el nostre alumnat, by Vicent Soler, Professor in Applied Economics and Dean at the Faculty of Economics at the University of València.
